When do all things alive die out
Do you wander what becomes of them?
Do their souls get lost forever
Never to be felt again
In a time of innocence
We were taught that
Something more was there
An everlasting reward so great
Here on earth
There's nothing to compare
Holding out a dying candle to light my
Way back home
It guides me to a distant calling, and I
Am not alone
What did you expect to find out
Hiding underneath the bed
When you know down deep
Inside the fear's
All in your head
Blowing out a dying candle
I've made my journey home
A waning light to spark a fire,
Illuminate the sun
Mirror mirror on the wall
You don't tell me anything at all
Am I supposed to just disappear
Or will they leave a stone
To mark my presence here
Or not to be what's this side to be
Or not to be, life is but a dream
