I have this friend from New York
She's really into macrobiotics and, what do you call it? Um
Tai Chi, yeah, she's into Tai Chi
And you know, she has this TV set
But it's hidden away in her closet
I found it one day when I was going through some of the stuff
And she always says that she never watches any
But it was sitting there under all her shirts and some books
And it's on wheels
So I know that at night, when everyone's left
She wheels it out of the closet, watches TV, goes to sleep
Wakes up in the morning and wheels it back in
And I think, I don't know
She should kinda come out of the closet, don't you think?

I have a sister who's actually quite addicted to television
That's all she does
I mean, I swear to God, she doesn't have a job
She doesn't wanna work
She wants my mother to pay for her apartment and all her bills
So she can watch television
I mean that's how much she loves it
