Wetzel (attack attack! 's drummer) explained the whole concept behind this song on their forum spring. Basically what he said was it's about how touring in a band takes time away from the ones you love, and also how some people can hate you for doing something you like. This is somewhat similar to going to war, how it takes time away from loved ones, the reasons why you fight, and how people can hate you for it. Hence the whole "war" theme to the album.
