    This truly was a masterpiece. This song is like no other song I've ever heard before. The rev was an amazing songwriter and with what happened makes this song that much more emotional. I don't see how any fan of the band could hear this song and not shed a tear or at least feel the sadness. RIP Rev

    This was his suicide note think about it, last song he wrote than he ODed it was suicide and if you listen to far away it leads more to suicide than there is victim which is towards suicide as well.

    it was an accidental overdose. he was on perscription drugs and he drank alcohol. when he drank alcohol with those drugs he suffered from acute polydrug intoxication. He also had cardiomegaly which basically means and enlarged heart and that could be another factor as to why the rev died. trust me this wasn't a suicide- each and every drug that showed up in the toxicology report was prescribed to Jimmy. These prescibed drugs were not supposed to be taken with alcohol.

    Guys, it was an accidental O.DHe had an enlarged heart, which went towards his death, but he was taking his pain meds for that, and he drank. Have you guys even seen videos of him? hes wayy too happy and stuff to have commited suicide.

    wow... i love this song, the piano just makes it and its sad people, Rev was amazing yes and a realy great song writter but SUICIDE??? what sh!t are you guys on...Rev would never leave his band behind for the world, he was just not aware of the circumstances by drinking while on meds...and would you think The Rev would have parted a drink? never...only real Fans of Rev will understand exactly why he died... and with the fact that the lyrics sound suidial is bullsh!t too... Get off those drugs you are taking and pay attention to the message behind each song these guys write...

    actually he didnt write this three days before he died he has been writing it since pinkly smooth, just since that was on hiatus he recorded the demo and HANDED IT IN to shads three days before he died get it right man, its not suicidal just coincidental

He mixed alcohol with heavy prescripted meds he was taking due to a recent surgery.

    i love the rev as much as anyone else but this song a long with a few others from this cd point to suicide...even one of his fellow band members told Kerrang in an interview about the rev that he eve thought it was suicide....Danger line is like his goodbye to his family...just listen to the lyrics of some of his songs it's pretty obvious

    jimmy wrote this song years ago for his other band but a7x loved it and decided to use it. they had to tweak it so it would be better for a7x. yes shadows did say in an interview it was like his soul knew he was about to die BUT JIMMY DIDNT COMMIT SUICIDE.

    he committed suicide obviously. he had a history of mental heath problems mixed with a well known drug addiction. he wrote "fiction" (originally known as "death")handed it to matt and said "this is all i have left in me." vocals and all. and 3 days later dies of a mix of oxy, morphine, valium and booze? FICTION is a suicide note. no doubt. hes telling everyone something. respect him and listen.

    look. he committed suicide. he was depressed and mentally ill "real fans" would know this. he had major drug problems. drug problems + emotional problems = 99.9% of suicides. he handed m shadows "death" (later fiction)3 days prior to death and said "this is all i have left in me". he had never recorded vocals for a demo, but did for "death"? and 3 days after finishing his self proclaimed "masterpiece" he dies and toxicology reports indicate acute heart enlargement due to a mix of oxy, morphine, valium, something else and alcohol. that my friends is classic case of suicide. HE WROTE THE LYRICS TO FICTION! THAT IS A SUICIDE NOTE. damn.

''Fiction'' was another nickname he gave himself cause he says:..no one will believe the life I lived..something like that. but its still freakin wierd when you read the lyrics and you know he wrote them 3 days before passing away..I miss him soo much.
