I am back on the road,
Had to lighten my load.
Won't be rambling long,
But it's time to sing my song.
Feel the hum of the tires,
Watch the waving electric wires.
Getting where I got to go,
On the highway riding low.
I got oversized shoes,
They make me walk like a goose.
It is a science and an art,
Being an old traveling fart.
Rhyming like Doctor Seuss
Singing like Bullwinkle Moose,
Might make you smile,
Or laugh for awhile.
Picking bluegrass and blues,
Free with nothing to loose.
Strolling round downtown.
Playing like a clown.
