Be careful little eyes what you see
It's the second glance that ties your hands
As darkness pulls the strings
Be careful little feet where you go
For it's the little feet behind you
That are sure to follow

It's a slow fade
When you give yourself away
It's a slow fade
When black and white have turned to grey
And thoughts invade, choices made

A price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day

It's a slow fade
It's a slow fade

Be careful little ears what you hear
When flattery leads to compromise
The end is always near
Be careful little lips what you say
For empty words and promises
Lead broken hearts astray

It's a slow fade
When you give yourself away
It's a slow fade
When black and white have turned to grey
And thoughts invade, choices made

A price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day

The journey from your mind to your hands
Is shorter than you're thinking
Be careful if you think you stand
You just might be sinking

And it's a slow fade
When you give yourself away
It's a slow fade
When black and white have turned to grey
And thoughts invade, choices made

A price will be paid
When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day (slow fade)
Daddies never crumble in a day (slow fade)
Families never crumble in a day

Oh, be careful little eyes what you see
Oh, be careful little eyes what you see
For the Father up above is looking down in love
Oh, be careful little eyes what you see

I think the message of this song is WONDERFUL, and it's a very valid warning for those of us who are Christian but are struggling with very real and very human temptations. I am a woman who is in an abusive marriage and whose husband also has a pornography addiction, and this has caused ME to sin in my own life as well, as I have developed adulterous feelings for my pastor who has been counseling me for my marital issues. This song was truly a God-send, and I cried for hours after first hearing it because it rings so true in my own life.

yes I just attended hey 40th birthday party all was fine until the kids of about 12 turned on a horrible murderous game right in the middle of the living room.. No one said anything I was very very uncomfortable and kept it moving my eyes the way from the game but the images that I caught at a glance were very disturbing and I can't wait till they disappear from my mind. I had discussed it afterwards and its a specially disturbing knowing this is happening right in the middle of a Christian family .. the next day we have a Bible study and now all I can think of is the gentleman's face who had the party and the horrible images that went with it .I left the party early as I just didn't feel very good..SLOW FADE has some great inside and yes it is a strong warning for Christians how we should live our lives inthe 4th dimension and get close to God and NOT with horrible images from thethe pits of hell like that being flashed in front of us... how sad ...
