Chickenfoot – Oh Yeah Lyrics

Rock

If I were a healer, I'd use my hands
I'd put a spell on you if I were a magic man
If I were Jesus, Buddha or a king
If I were a bluesman, oh Lord, I could sing

About how I wanna be your hoochie coochie man
You got me eatin' out of your hand

(Oh yeah)
Come on baby, tell me what you want
(Oh yeah)
Come on baby, tell me what you need
(Oh yeah)
There ain't nothin' I wouldn't do for you
Oh yeah

When I was a young man, I, I slept around
When I turned 30, tried to settle down
To be your doctor, preacher, teacher, that's the truth, hey
Operatin' on my knees, my soul is waterproof

I just wanna be your hoochie coochie man
And get you eatin' out of my hand

[(Oh yeah)] Wooh
Now, come on baby, tell me what you want
[(Oh yeah)]
Come on baby, tell me what you need
[(Oh yeah)]
Ain't nothin' I wouldn't do for you
Oh yeah

Ooh, baby
Ooh, baby
Woah, yeah, uh

Oh baby
Ooh, yeah
Well, well, well

If I were a potter, I'd make you real
I'd mold and touch you on my spinning wheel

[(Oh yeah)]
Yeah, come on baby, tell me what you want
[(Oh yeah)]
Come on baby, tell me what you need
[(Oh yeah)]
Tell me what I can do for you
Oh yeah

Said [(Oh yeah)]
Come on baby, tell me what you want
[(Oh yeah)]
Come on baby, tell me what you need
[(Oh yeah)]
I'd do anything for you, oh
Oh yeah
Oh yeah

Ha, ow, yeah

well to be honest, the chorus is a little genericall in all tho i enjoy the rifts and overall sound of song.regardless if its plain, simple, generic thats what th majority of the population can relate to and enjoy.we can't all be musicians

well lyrics aren't the most lucid, but the way he sings it and all there IS meaning there.he's got melody but guess not just the right words to say so

this is a song for each of our self...how we do everything and anything just to feel the self-existence...so, to someone who said this song is "horribly written"...i hope he knew what he read...

to one who said: "what a horribly written song":"Oh Yeah?? Dude, you gotta be a hell of a song writer, eh? this song ain&#039t talking about your way of saying b&#039llsh&#039t for one-night-stand-plea at a club...it&#039s about how you should remind your-present-self to always respecting your-previous-self; and...d&#039mn you&#039re so pathetic..!!!"
