It was one of the best and worse to me
It brought forth one of the ugliest faces in me
Because of the words it spoke to me
I thought my life had been unveiled
And if I don't commit this time
I'll disappoint my family
It was probably best and worse to me
It could have easily have torn me from my life to be
Because of the face it showed to me
I thought my truth had been revealed
And if I do succumb this time
I'll disappoint my friends and me
It questioned the way that I built it
and it made me fear more why I felt it
And it found reasons to grow even stronger
and it made it carry on the longer
Because of the words it spoke to me
