There where all paths fade in the sky
The soul languished wounded, bleeding
In the desert of a ghostlike silence
Devastated, broken it dims in grief
Blind eyes stare into (a black) horizon
Blind eyes... (they stare)
Steeped in memories of days sadly bygone
Sadness consumes it, ripping it apart piece by piece
And the eyes so lifeless, cursed, deserted
Pale, blinded by the last sunset
And the last prayers fly away into (misty) oblivion
And with them, crushed, senses subside
And a heart through the last rays of the drear sun
At last it dies... Withering in a black horizon
