Open up wide, swallow down deep
No spoonful of sugar could make it sweet
The cancer inside, stealing my sleep
Night after night, it keeps haunting me

The secrets I keep are tearing me up inside
I try to hide them, and I wonder why
I wonder why I'm still running
When I know there's no escaping

Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price

Fall on my knees, fall on my pride
I'm tripping over all the times I've lied
I'm asking please, but I can see in your eyes
You don't need tears for alibis

That's true what they say, love must be blind
It's why You're still standing by this sinner's side
You're still by my side
When all the things I've done have left You bleeding

Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price

I don't think I can drive it home tonight
I don't think I wanna be alone tonight

Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price

Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price

Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price
Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price
Come undone, surrender is stronger
I don't need to be the hero tonight
We all want love, we all want honor
Nobody wants to pay the asking price

About This Song

"Undone" by FFH is a deeply vulnerable Christian rock ballad that explores the exhausting burden of hiding personal struggles and secrets from others. The song uses powerful metaphors like cancer and bitter medicine to convey how internal pain and shame can consume someone, while the protagonist grapples with the futility of running from problems that can't be escaped. Musically, the track features FFH's signature melodic rock sound with emotional vocals that build toward a cathartic chorus about the strength found in surrender rather than self-reliance. The central theme revolves around the Christian concept that true healing comes through vulnerability and letting go of the need to be perfect or heroic, making it a resonant anthem for anyone struggling with the weight of keeping up appearances. The song's honest portrayal of spiritual and emotional wrestling makes it stand out in the contemporary Christian music landscape for its raw authenticity.

i absolutely love this song.! its beautiful in meaning and is a constant reminder that need to surrender to the Lord in all that i do even though its not going to be easy but will be worth it when eternity catches us and those who do not surrender have only the world and the temporary things of it

I agree. This is one of my favorite songs. It is so meaningful, and really reminds us to surrender, because surrendering to God will save us from earthly goods and hell. Thank you FFH.

Amen to above comments! Jesus, please reign in our hearts and restore our souls to please you daily with our gratefulness and lead us not into temptation, but forgive us and help us forgive others. We seek your mercy and grace. Protect us from our accuser. We look to the cross, often.

This song is so meaningful... it tells us all that God will never leave us and that all the bad things we've done will not make him stop loving us.

To the post on October 10th:Jesus already paid the price for us all. there is nothing we could ever do. doesn't matter how you 'are with God'... we can never make ourselves right with God. all we have left then, is to humbly ask for and accept His forgiveness, and let His life change our lives from the inside out. That's where you start; and then the Holy Spirit will come alongside you and guide you the rest of the way, for each person's walk is different.
