There's a face staring at me
From a chair I don't want to see
This was a path that lead to nowhere
I stayed young and I break naive(?)
There's a name they're about to say
I wish it wasn't my name today
We can all make our choices
But all I've made are mistakes

In a world full of vices
We all pay our prices
And even angels fall

What would you say if I gave this away
To be what was before before this(?)
What would you say if I gave this if I gave this away

Even the preacher cheats
With the Pretty Faces
Well he's the one unfaithful
Telling me I'm faithless
He smiles with such impeccability
Like he's better than me
We are we are one and the same

In a world full of vices
We all pay our prices
And even angels fall

What would you say if I gave this away
To be what was before before this(?)
What would you say if I gave this I gave this away

The Pretty Faces
They get me every time
The Pretty Faces
They get me every time
They get me every time

What would you say if I gave this away
To be what was before before this(?)
What would you say if I gave this away
To be what was before before this(?)

Cause I'm gonna give it up
Cause I'm gonna give it up
Well I'm gonna give this up
Yeah I'm gonna give it up

Oh my God she's such a pretty
Oh my God she's such a pretty
Oh my God she's such a Pretty Face

Obviously about falling in love with a "pretty face". Perhaps Nixon (or whoever wrote the song) is lamenting about how he's in trouble for loving a girl who's beauty is only skin deep, if that. Think hooker, etc. He defends his love by saying even the most pure have the ability to fall for a "pretty face," and in the end, he's basically falling for her again. ("oh my god she's such a ... Pretty face")
