No illusions, hope has faded
I don't need it anymore
This is time of contempt

Vile language of your hatred
Is coming from your own mouth
Double standards, double ethics
Looking harmless but screams so loud
No freedom of speech nor thought
Falseness, contempt, mendacity
Falsified reality
Blinded by hate you can not see
Hanging my head in thin silence
Disappointed and resigned
Seeing my polite withdrawal
Raging furious you jump to bite
Spat, betrayed and abandoned
Rejected and despised
But here I stand proudly now
I didn't lose my will to fight
