I fly over the Coteau des Prairies
I have beautiful wings and the wind lifts me higher
And the life with my love is left behind
Then I reach the atmosphere
The layer of ozone is silky and warm
I see the Ursa Major and the galaxies
All my worries and fears are left behind

In the purple sky
I'll be watching you from far away
Up in the sky I am a Moonbird
When I arrive at my Moonland
A peculiar sight is welcoming me
