Behind the ears
I've been cleaning
All my ideas
A good old band
They've been... had
They've been formed
If not entirely planned
And they deserve
My attention
Though I can't finish everything that I start
I have the best intentions
There's not enough time
I hope they understand
I'm only making one trip
And I've only got one pair of hands
I'm set
Or shall we preprogram
Digital safety net
In lieu of a band
But it's no substitute
For the friends I've had
The same ones I've lost
Over something
That I can't take back
