I think it's hinting to all the hatred in the world, like all the knife crime and terrorist attack, racism, just all the hate people have towards eachother and he is saying how we are all just the same. and when he says "so tiny that they blow away like dust" he's saying that all our actions are so small and insignificant when you compare us to the size of the whole universe and how we might as well all just get along.
