Encircled by ruins
Of crumbling statues
Insubstancial is existence
In their dark silhouette
The stones tell tales
Of what once was
Great everlasting shrine
Moldy and forgotten
For them the time also takes its toll
...for they rot
Black shapes melt into the sky
Of imploding twisted stars
The timeless bow before aeons
Archaic bodies crushed by ages -
Divine spirits trapped within
Bound to wither in silence
Their streams run dead
Etheral shadows
Dance around the statues
As the cycles come and go
The gods rot
