    Beautiful Maxwell. I have loved maxwell every since "till the cops come knocking". I own every cd & soundtack he has made or featured on. He is amazing. He's a man with a deep soul full of love.     Oh my God!Have I been living on Mars? I just heard this song and fell in love with it instantly! Maxwell came out hard! I feel this with every being. I have listened to it over and over. Its like he is telling my life story. Sometimes you just have to let it go to see clearly. Love allows you to make a fool of yourself. It feels good to be free and set him free! No doubt the love is still there but sometimes you have to let those pretty wings fly!

    To me this song is saying how a man and a woman were together. Somewhere along the line, they both did each other wrong. Cause the song states how he hurted her as well as she hurted him. Yes they were in love. But, he decides since he cant love her right or have all of her, to set her free into the world. That way they both can see what love really is.     Maxwell broke up with the woman because she was cheating on him. Hence the lyrics, "you played me dirty your game was so bad." However, when the relationship began she was most likely faithful and a special woman. Hence the lyrics, "you came right, I was wrong." He wasn't treating her the way he should have early on. He knows he told her lies and should have showed her better times. These actions, most likely, led to her running games and playing Maxwell dirty. This is when he knows they can no longer be together. But it isn't a bad break because he realizes he pushed her to that point and it was a big mistake on his part. Regardless she has to go! He's almost telling her you cannot be with me because of what you did to me but if my dumbass had realized your worth from the beginning, we wouldn't be in this position. So, he knows letting her go will help to cure his hurt and at the same time she can find and experience true love by flying her pretty wings around.     It's amazing that this song fits my situation so well with my ex. The first verse is something I would say to him to explain how I feel and the second verse is somehting he would say to me to explain how he feels. Wow. That thing called love is something else. Our break up is new, only 3 days old, so there are still a lot of emotion between the two of us. I have never loved someone so much that I just simply cannot be with.     No he says she won't remember him or the trails of their relationship. The part with "you played me dirty, you played me so bad" sort of throws me but I can only guess that she gave him her all & he feel in love (which most men call game) and he couldn't handle it so he had to set her free. I guess...either way it is a great song about moving on from a relationship that is hurting you.... Lesson learned here!!
