About Miami Sound Machine

Miami Sound Machine emerged from Miami's vibrant Latin music scene in 1975 and became the vehicle for Gloria Estefan's rise to international stardom, blending infectious Latin rhythms with mainstream pop sensibilities. Their breakthrough album *Primitive Love* spawned hits like "Words Get In The Way" and established their signature sound of driving percussion, synth-pop hooks, and bilingual vocals that made Latin music accessible to American radio. Led by Emilio Estefan's production vision and Gloria's powerful voice, they turned Miami into a pop music capital and paved the way for the Latin pop explosion of the '90s.
