After the Columbine shootings, the Governor of Colorado invited Michael W Smith to sing at memorial services. When he heard the story of Rachel Scott, he wrote this song. Crouched under a table in the Columbine High School library, one of the killers shouted, "If anyone believe in God, stand up!" As the song says, "For her there was only one choice to make..." Rachel stood up and was shot and killed instantly...Imagine the kind of faith that took! But while the world was left with an inspiring testimony, Rachel instantly was standing before the God who had also sacrificed His life for her...and all of us.

Rachel was not in the library when she was shot, she was outside eating lunch. Heres a book i think every teen should read. It's called "rachel's tears" by darrell scott and beth nimmo with steve rabey. It is truely amazing!
