And he sat in a corner of a tavern,
he told the tale of an old man once young,
a man who travelled through land and sea,
suffering torments
Remembering indelible memories
His diary bears the scars
not engraved in his body,
talking about a hundred tales
which travel through time by word of mouth,
writing itselfs into eternity
Tears fall from his eyes, sailing his wrinkles,
knowing that no one will know,
the name of the one who tells the greatest
story of the seven seas
His voice slowly withers
at the same time as his life
and at the end will only remain,
the scars in his diary
now engraved in time
