Oceana – Dead Speaker Lyrics

Rock

Something Didn't want you to live in me
My body rejected you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep
Something didn't want you to die in me
My body accepted you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep

Breather, you took it all away from me
You're nothing, Was I supposed to see?
Mother, were going too fast for me
I was a growing seed, It ended
Mother, I was still so afraid of my grave
I was buried as a child
Father, And after all my organs were choked
Do you still feel me?

Something Didn't want you to live in me
My body rejected you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep (me to sleep)
Something didn't want you to die in me
My body accepted you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep

I'll find sadness
it matches my sound
it's vicious as sex
I'll find sadness
it matches my sound
it's vicious as sex
Devil you fed it, your son isn't finished
Devil you fed it, your son isn't finished

Something Didn't want you to live in me
My body rejected you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep
Something Didn't want you to live in me
My body rejected you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep (me to sleep)
Something didn't want you to die in me
My body accepted you, you don't belong to me
and after the body's clean
they have to make room for me to sleep

a song about abortion... "After all my organs were choked. Do you still feel me?"the baby, or fetus, clearly addresses the mother and the father. Although Lyrics are written from both perspectives, "My Body rejected you, you don't belong to me" is from the mother's point of view.Even though the lyrics are a bit repetitive, the song gives a deep personal insight into the lyricist's feelings about abortion.

Not only is it about abortion, but it's about sin. Oceana is strongly adapted to spreading truth.
