Painted vivid in my mind
Deathly and surreal
Nightmares turn corporeal
Skin flayed and laid out flat
Nightmares will take their turns
Fleshless and searing
My body lies charred and burning
Consciousness drifting
Reality is fading
Anxiety takes control
Autonomy degrading
Tormented and trapped
In this existence
To my knees
I drop with no resistance
Life-like dreams of violence
Mutilating myself
Tearing back my cheeks
Pulling my own teeth
Disfigured underneath
Endlessly these dreams repeat
Now my true reality
