I lie awake fearing what might come,
Anxious of what I cannot see.
The silence is deafening to my ears,
I'll never learn to cope, with my fears.
A shadowy hand touches my heart,
It feels like I'm being torn apart.
I see it everywhere I go (I can't take it anymore)
I feel it everywhere I roam,
I just want you out of my head,
Out of my head.
As I light up a candle the flame goes away,
When I look into myself it's all black and grey.
The warmth of the sun, feels cold on my skin,
I was left in this world, only to sin.
As I fall through the air, I feel at peace,
When I hit the ground, sweet serenity!
Consumed by the dark, I lie on the ground,
Deliver me from this madness my world has become,
I can't feel my legs, my hands are numb,
God why did you give me another chance?
