We are falling, falling
To the bottom of the sea
Twirl and spin with slow motion
So strange and yet so free
I am turning, turning
Upside down again
I'm wet and yet I don't feel wet
Whoops! I'm upside down again

There's two fish folk who are fighting
Let's just run and hide away
It's a strange new world
We have landed in
So many pretty fish folk
With their gills and fins
And chubby and free
Gentle and brave
And a giant octopus
Who lives in a cave
And John Dory's so cruel

There's catfish in the sponge tree
Seahorses ride along
Tie the horse to the sea fern
And sing this fish folk song
For breakfast we'll have sea grapes
For tea it's tiny prawns
Coloured fish swim above us
Like birds so high and tall

In the shadows lurks John Dory
Mean and cruel, all the fish folk say
Tonight is the night
When we dance in the hall
So come with your partner
To the fish folk ball
