There are a million things to do in life
And I'm tempted to try them all
There's a million paths to bitterness
If you go at it like a wrecking ball
Look around
At all of those I affect
Can I learn to live with
The lingering impact?
We get one life
And we all must decide
Which master rules the day
Through laughter and tears
I pray that in my later years
I won't regret the choices made
Conflicting passions pulling me apart
Can't do it all, I must decide
If feelings get hurt along the way
