great song. it's about falling in love but one is hesitating (afraid). The other is frustrated but can't just move on, even if he thinks they've tried everything to take it to that next level in the relationship. There at an impasse in the relationship. He tries to reassure "take my hand" but what else can he do to convince her? How can they move to that next step? It's frustrating for both, but a bit of hope in the up tempo. That, or it's about a broken relationship that is going no where. Either way,the relationship is definitely at an impasse.

I think its about a relationship that is stuck,they aren't going forward and they are just stuck like all marriages!the best part of the relationship is the dating!after you get married it gets old and it goes nowhere!sucks!
