In these modern times there ain't mass grief
But this girl's distress was her belief
Stands out strong, with wars long gone.
She I d all the time in the world to love
And all the time in the world to hate,
Her words so kind - left behind.
Well surely she can stop herself
I only thought she loved herself
- shaking cuz he's with someone else
He had this awesome, modern dream
- busy all the time or so it seemed
And went away (well he got more pay)
This fateful distance kept them apart
Took a coupla years to mend her heart
Now once again she feels the same.
