I think this song is about Edward. He feels as if he cant get away from Bella no matter how hard he tries. She will forever follow him. The last line is saying that he can never turn back after he has accepted his decision to be with her.

its sooo about edward. he feels like he cant get away from bella but then if he decides to be with her he wont be able to leave. But I don't know where I am and I don't trust who I've been~ i think this means that he knows in the past that he could resist blood, but he cant trust that because nobodys blood has ever been as powerful as bella's (still super jealous of her tho)

i friggen wuv this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its one of my favs on the twilight track! i just luv songs that have random ounds to them or are really complex. i always pick out the drums patterns n guitar patterns in all the songs i know after i learn the words, n this one has the awesumest guitar sounds in the background. also, some other instrumant i cant figure out. maybe mandolin? (huh???)

omg! this is so obvios! well, i think it's about Bella, cuz she knows she's like a danger magnet, and that she can't be "free" anymore, cuz she drags danger with her wherever she goes. She explains it herself in New Moon, when she finds out Victoria is after her, and that she'll follow her to the end of the world. but it also reminds me of Edward, cuz he knows he's dangerous, but he also knows he's not brave enough or able to leave Bella... it's a cool song(:

i love this song.... i think that it is talking about, when bella leaves she doesn't know what will happen or what she will find in forks... and once she finds edward (something that she never expected) they can't be away from each other and edward doesn't if he is strong enough to leave... and also doesn't trust who he is because he doesn''t want to lose control around her and is afraid that is he is around her to long he might put her in danger but knows he can't live without her

I think the first stanza refers to Bella going back to Forks but forshadows what is to come (Braking Dawn - the wedding as she arrives to Edward she states she is finally home and when she becomes a vampire (and pale) she finally fits in the world - a world of magic). I think the rest of the song is about Edward and his internal struggle to be with Bella.

I love this song. It fits Bella and Edward from Twilight so well. I'm happy it got on the soundtrack xD The whole Twilight Soundtrack/Movie/Books are AMAZING :) ..It relates to Edward and Bella because (For those who don't know..) First Verse - Bella is leaving home to go live with her dad in Forks, and doesn't know what to expect from it. Second Verse - Bella meets Edward and falls in love with him and realizes he is all that she wants. Third Verse - Edward is in love with Bella, but he doesn't trust who he is to be around her, but he doesn't want to leave her because he loves her.

I don't think the song is actually about the characters in Twilight, since it was written before that. But ofcourse you can very well relate it to the story. I 'discovered' the song through the movie, and I'm glad I did. (Same goes for Iron&Wine). It just has this *something* about it, that gets you in this certain mood and makes you want to listen to it over and over again.
