There was a restaurant
On the top floor of the Hudson's Bay
It was called The Paddle Wheel
It still is today
And there really was a paddle wheel
Floating in a watery tank
You could lean over the rail
Throw a penny in
And make a wish as it sank
I used to try and land the pennies
On the paddles of the paddle wheel
So they'd stay there for a second
Before they fell
I thought if I could do it
Then my wish would come true
But I was small and it was hard to do
