it's the only thing
we can be sure about
words can only do so much
material objects only sedate
while we try to figure out why fate
plays such games on us
left right, left right
left right and you just might
find that the smaller steps are more efficient to get you there
hold tight, the stars bright
take a million years to reach our eyes but they don't give up on their light
what can you do but just wait it out
there's something to be said
fore letting it all go
even just for a little while
the pain is in your head
and it's so hard to forget
but you need some relief
