I was feeling really down because my husband and I are not getting along, he is a prison inmate, I'm a prison minister and minister to many inmates. I was feeling hopeless and sad, then this song came on. I write and visit inmates, so I have to stay up so this song was for me!

Yo all you who think this song was nothing about God in it need to go back and read the part "Hold on to the One that's holding you". The "One" is obviously God and this is basically a quote from scripture about how Jesus holds his sheep and none can snatch them out of his hand... John 10 i think.Anyway Toby is awesome and so is this song.

It means Hold On ... better things to come or it will get better! My husband has told me all our life together "Hold On". We have been through circumstances as everyone else. When we heard this song it just cinched up what my husband has told me for years.This song is dedicated to us. Thank you Toby Mac and to my husband, Chris!
