i was done with staying in
stuck in thoughts
when it started caving in
i was so numb
i can finally feel the water touch my skin
yet, i’m still lost
cause i gotta make it work, but how?
think i just gotta wait it out, for now
and look at the mess that is in my head
it’s full of illusions that i regret
am i gonna make it work, somehow?

and it gives me vertigo
