echoes from the deep
dangerous temptation
morbid imagery
and beautiful damnation
the stunning symmetry
of our existence
laughs at our pitiful tries
of honesty and resistance
hiding in the shadow
of what I could become
this feeling of lust for darkness
I cannot overcome
this reasoning of moral
the expected ethic code
by them I leave reluctance
our existence will implode
I close my eyes to see
a contour glowing brightly
the figure moves up closer
and bows to me politely
the figure is a man
his face is just like mine
he brings out a graceful quill
between us he draws a line
