damon never talks about simple things less love in couples but you can hear the song and interpretate like you want damons disre. the song menas relationships beteew ourselves and live around us"! GRANDE DAMON!!!!!!!

It could be interpreted how you want to, as most songs in Plastic Beach, or well, in Gorillaz, or well, in Damon Albarn (yeah, he's a poet :P). I see that its a relationship that is ending. "I've seen their worlds in my head", that reminds me of the Blur song, 'No Distance Left to Run", that talks about his broken relationship. The "plasma screens we keep switched on while we sleep", its probably a mention when a relationship its almost dead, when people doesn't make love any more, don't talk anymore either in bed, so they just watch tv while they fall to sleep.

I believe the song is about the evil beings (govs business etc) in the world "comes in black or red". "they connect with the fall of man" meaning that they are our downfall. "There is nothing we can do for them" is literal. We cant stop them because they refuse to stop. "Love is broken" meaning that they have no love only the drive for materials things. "By the light of plasma screens" which also restates the material things and how we are mesmorized. I believe that most of their album is talking about how the world today is so messed up. :0
