Bruce Springsteen Brings Back Tom Morello for Spring Tour

Tom Morello is returning to the stage with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band for a North American tour launching this spring. The Rage Against the Machine guitarist previously filled in for Steven Van Zandt during 2013 and 2014 runs, and the two musicians have maintained a working relationship across multiple projects.

Their collaborations span both Springsteen albums and Morello's solo work. Morello's 2021 record The Atlas Underground Fire featured Springsteen alongside Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder on a cover of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell." On the flip side, Morello appears as a contributor on Springsteen's Wrecking Ball and High Hopes.

A recent high-profile moment between them occurred at an anti-I.C.E. rally organized by Morello in Minneapolis. During the event, Springsteen debuted his new protest track "Streets of Minneapolis" in front of a live audience.

The Land of Hope and Dreams tour kicks off March 31 in Minneapolis and wraps up May 27 in Washington, D.C. The Springsteen and E Street Band trek will hit multiple North American markets across the two-month run.
