Kasabian's Pizzorno Plans Oasis-Radiohead-Fred Again.. Fusion Shows

Kasabian frontman Serge Pizzorno just dropped some serious intel about the band's summer tour plans, and honestly, it sounds completely mental in the best way possible. Speaking at the 2026 BRITs in Manchester, Pizzorno revealed he's been soaking up inspiration from three wildly different live experiences that are now shaping how the Leicester rockers approach their upcoming shows.

The singer caught Oasis twice during their reunion tour at Wembley, then hit up Radiohead and Fred Again.. for good measure. Each show left its mark, and now Pizzorno wants to blend all three into something completely new for Kasabian's summer dates, including their massive Finsbury Park headline slot on July 4. "Imagine those three melted into something new, and that's where we're headed," he told NME, which honestly sounds like the kind of ambitious madness that could either be brilliant or completely bonkers.

Meanwhile, the band's upcoming ninth album 'Act III' is taking a decidedly more traditional route. Despite his recent collaboration with Calvin Harris and obvious love for Fred Again..'s electronic wizardry, Pizzorno confirmed the new record stays firmly planted in guitar territory. He's been getting extra inspiration from Måneskin guitarist Thomas Raggi, who he recently worked with and describes as "a wild character" who "turns up in the studio like a rock star from the '70s."

The timing feels perfect for Kasabian, who are experiencing a surge of new fans alongside their longtime devotees. Pizzorno noted the "strange" but exciting energy in recent crowds, with fresh faces mixing with the "true heads" to create what he calls "an injection of chaos." With 'Act III' dropping this spring and these ambitious live plans brewing, it seems like the band's 20-plus year journey is hitting another peak.
