TAIT Buys Silent House in Major Live Events Industry Merger

TAIT completed its acquisition of Emmy Award-winning creative agency Silent House Group, bringing together the staging giant's technical prowess with the production studio's creative design capabilities. The deal formalizes a partnership spanning more than two decades between the companies.

The merger creates a comprehensive platform for touring, experiential, and broadcast productions. TAIT, founded in 1978, operates 24 global offices and provides infrastructure for live experiences across 30 countries. The company's recent engineering projects include Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and the Backstreet Boys Sphere residency in Las Vegas.

Adam Davis remains CEO of TAIT, while Baz Halpin, founder of Silent House, will head the new creative and production divisions. Halpin told Variety the companies have been "in each other's lives intimately for 20-something years" and share aligned visions for the industry's future.

TAIT's 2,000-person workforce includes engineers, architects, physicists, and storytellers supported by one million square feet of manufacturing facilities. Silent House, established in 2010, operates specialized divisions in studios, touring, and productions, creating large-scale live experiences and award-winning broadcast content for major artists and brands worldwide.
